Yeast Infection Information You Need
| Basics |
|
Candidasis is the name given to different species of yeasts, the most common including candida albicans, candida tropicalis, and candida parapsilosis, which can lead to candidiasis or moniliasis. This is the most common fungus problem.
Candidasis is yeast that lives in the human body, and is normally controlled by bacteria in the intestines. Its job is to recognize harmful bacteria and destroy them. Without the Candida albicans bacteria, we would live for thirty minutes or less, or be placed in a sterile bubble in order to sustain life. But when something destroys Enhanceful bacteria, the yeast begins to invade and colonize the body tissues. These yeast colonies release powerful chemicals into the bloodstream, causing symptoms such as lethargy, chronic diarrhea, yeast vaginitis, bladder Problem created due to harmful organisms, muscle and joint Discomfort, menstrual problems, constipation, and severe Despair. The medical term for this yeast overgrowth is candidiasis.
Anyone can suffer from candidiasis. However, it is commonly found in children or elderly people who suffer from long-term problem. Pregnant women and those with diabetes are particularly likely to develop candidas in the vagina. It can cause serious problems to those receiving certain antibiotics or steroids over a long time, and those who undergo abdominal surgery.
Candidiasis usually affects the mouth, vagina, skin, nails and lung passages. It is usually not serious and readily responds to Favorable Effects. However, if it spreads to the bloodstream or meninges (membranous tissues surrounding the brain) it can become extremely serious. Therefore, early detection and Favorable Effects are essential for good health.

| Prevention |
|
Candidasis necessarily involves three major considerations:
1. Cutting the conditions for the growth of yeasts by the elimination of immunosuppressive drugs and antibiotics, and dietary deprivation of the candida of those foods on which it is nourished and flourishes
2. Destruction of yeast proliferation in the body.
3. Rebalancing and strengthening of the body's Defense mechanism of body for the restoration of proper function.
The most important step in the treatment of people with candidasis is to curtail candida overgrowth in order to deprive the yeast of food on which it flourishes. Basically this includes the following:
Sugar and Carbohydrates such as those found in all sweetened food including those using honey, molasses, sorghum, maple syrup, sugar, fructose, maltose, dextrose, etc. Fruits and their juices are also restricted as well as soda pop. Yeast Products such as beer, wine, natural B vitamins, brewer's yeast, dried fruits, melons, frozen and canned juices.
Fermented and Mold Foods such as mushrooms, cheese, vinegar, mustard, catsup, relish and other condiments made with vinegar, sour cream, buttermilk, tofu, soy sauce, miso and ciders.

| Causes |
|
Several factors can cause this normally harmless yeast to grow out of control and lead to candidiasis. The primary and most accepted factor is the use of oral antibiotics.
Taking broad-spectrum antibiotics, especially over a period of time and with repeated use, will destroy the Candida-controlling bacteria, as well as problem-causing bacteria. The consequences of the elimination of bacteria that compete with other organisms for mucosal epithelial cellular receptor sites may be substantial. It is recognized by the medical community
that as a result of the elimination of the defense mechanism - which the normal flora
provides - yeasts are allowed to grow excessively in the gut.
Steroids such as Cortisone suppress the Defense mechanism of body's ability to fight Candida growth.
Any hormone imbalance caused by birth control pills or frequent pregnancies also favor Candida overgrowth.
Another cause of Candida overgrowth can be from a low Acidophilus and Bifidus culture in the colon. It is imperative that there is enough of these two friendly bacterias in the system in order to control Candida overgrowth. Without these friendly bacteria Candida can, and probably will,
get out of control. |

| Diagnosis |
|
Diagnosing candida is difficult at times. It can manifest itself through so many seemingly unrelated
symptoms that it is difficult to spot. A definitive diagnosis involves a positive stool culture or elevated antibody levels to Candida. Unfortunately, Candida frequently goes unrecognized. Certain chronic conditions can accompany the presence of Candida and include:
Fatigue, Poor recall, Despair,
Muscle aches, Discomfortful joints, Abdominal Discomfort,
Spots in front of the eyes, Visual disturbances, Numbness,
Burning, Tingling, Feeling spaced-out, or digestive disturbances
If you suspect you might suffer from chronic yeast Problem created due to harmful organisms, you should tell your doctor. However, if he suggests drug therapy, you may want to consider combining natural alternatives with medical Favorable Effectss. In recent years, it
seems as if every ailment in the book has been blamed on Candidiasis. |

|
