| 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) is an amino acid 5-HTP is made by the body from an essential amino acid which is known as tryptophan. It is then converted into serotonin, an important brain chemical. The food supplements containg 5-HTP gives a raise in the level of serotonin in the brain, which may have a good effect in different behavior of one’s life like, appetite, mood, sleep, sexual behavior and feeling of pain.
The point which is to be noted that some contaminated batch of tryptophan has caused eosinophilic myalgia syndrome (EMS) a fatal disorder of skin, blood, muscles and organs. In the result all supplement of tryptophan had been removed from the market of USA in 1989. 5-HTP has not been manufactured by such type of tryptophan, but there is still concern that some 5-HTP supplements contain similar impurities. It is necessary to get the food supplements from a reliable manufacturer such as NSF and United States Pharmacopeia (USP) that maintain their high quality standard as well as they give latest information on the labels of their products. |

| I had severe depression, I couldn't get into seeing a Head Doctor for meds as it would take 2 weeks. Then I went to a Herbal Doctor and he told to get this, it worked in 2-3 mins. my depression was gone and I felt so so good, I did not want to live that day but because of this product and being able to get it and use it daily, its my life line to living. Thank you for making this product and selling it. Everyone that has depression should have it on hand. It works so so fast. Thank you |
