| My husband has bladder cancer and often gets kiney and bladder infections. After taking very strong anibotics for 10 days, he would often develope yeast problems in his mouth and have digestive and bowel movement trouble. On one of his hospital stays a young asian doctor asked us if he was taking Acidophilus with his antibotics. He wasn't, we did not know about the product. The doctor explained to us that the body naturally has "good " bacteria in the stomach that helps with digestion and keeps a person from getting yeast problems. Aparentley the strong antibotics kill all the "good" bacteria too and if you take acidophilus it puts the good bacteria back into the body so your whole system is not out of whack. I asked him why no other doctor had ever told us about it and he said the medical community has known for a long time how important this product is but since it can be bought over the counter the medical community does not promote it. Instead they let you develope the yeast and digestive problems so that they can see the patient further and the drug companies make money when the doctor has to write further prescriptions. They way he described it was that the whole circle was about money and not the patients well being at all. This made us so mad at the medical system. So I am so glad your company provides this product to the community, it is very important to take along with any form of antibotics...my husband and I both thank you, Sincerely, Jennifer and Michael Swanson Seattle Wash |
