Suggested Use for Chitosan |

Chiotsan itself is a fiber derived from the chitin in shells of shrimp, lobster, and other shellfish. Unrefined chitosan has been used to soak up oil spills. More purified chiotsan can be taken as a supplement to block fat absorption. Certain medications, essential fatty acids, and fat soluble vitamins (A, D, E and K) may be adsorbed when taken with Chitosan. If you are allergic to shellfish, use caution when taking this product as chitosan is derived from shellfish. Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature.
