| My two year old daughter got a bladder infection just a week after she started using the big potty. Even though I wasn't alarmed by it, my pediatrician recommended some ridiculous protocol with invasive procedures to shoot a dye into her urinary tract to track any possible defects/problems. They said they treated urinary tract infections in toddlers very aggressively because of the long term problems that they could cause. I opted not to allow them to perform the procedure and instead have had her on Cranactin for the past year. Not one other urinary tract infection has occurred. Even if it hasn't done anything other than to ease my mind, it's been worth every penny and I will continue to have her take the tablets. And she loves the taste! I haven't found any other chewable cranberry tablet so this one is a lifesaver! |
