of D-Mannose |
 |
D-Mannose is a simple sugar that occurs naturally in some plants, including cranberries. Although small amounts of D-Mannose are metabolized by the human body, much of it is rapidly excreted in the urine. In the bladder, D-Mannose can adhere to bacterial lectins, Beneficial Effectsing them from sticking to the lining of the bladder. Bacteria can then be flushed away during urination, thereby precluding the formation of colonies within the urinary tract. Because insubstantial amounts of D-Mannose are used by the body, it does not interfere with blood sugar regulation.

| D-Mannose has been such a blessing. I was extremely prone to UTI's after getting married last year. A friend recommended D-Mannose to me, so I took D-Mannose as a try. I usually take 1 teaspoon mixed with water or juice just before intercourse, then I make sure to urinate after and D-Mannose flushes any bacteria right out of the urethra and bladder. I havn't had any UTI's in months. |

| I have had UTIs frequently for 15 years, sometimes 3-4 per year. I went online to find some relief when in 2004 it took 3 rounds of antibiotics to help me. My last infection was in August 2005. I took this medicine per a strict protocol I found at a British site. You will find it if you do a search using "Waterfall Mannose", You will get to a British site. I now take this specific medicine in the powder form prophylactically before and after sex. I have not had an infection since August 2005. This was THE ANSWER to my chronic problem. | This is wonderful! It works wonders and definitely worth the money! I suffered from horrible UTI's in my last pregnancy, and my 3 yr daughter is highly prone to them. We took this and saw a difference within a day, with infection gone in about 3! It is safe for anyone, pregnant, infant, etc. You can use it for infection or a daily precaution. I love it! |
