Ginkgo biloba may increase the effects of anticoagulants. Therefore it should not be taken with anticoagulant medications or by those with conditions which may be worsened by thinning the blood. Ginkgo biloba is also not recommended with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as Discomfortkillers, and other herbs, antioxidants, or health supplements that may affect blood clotting.
