BONE-UP combines Microcrystalline Hydroxyapatite (MCHA) (from free-range Australian calves) with Glucosamine to support the deposition of calcium into the bones as well as to assist in building up the organic bone matrix. Also added are the nutrients MK-7 (a more bioavailable form of Vitamin K2), and Methyl B12 for optimal osteo support.
Health Claim: Regular, weight-bearing exercise and a healthy diet with adequate calcium, including from Bone-Up, Enhances teen and young adult women build bone mass and maintain bone health and may reduce their high risk of osteoporosis later in life. Daily calcium intake above 2,000 mg is not likely to provide additional benefit. Adequate calcium intake is linked to reduced osteoporosis by slowing bone loss in older men and women.
