| I have been using this Schiff product for almost 40 years. I had been diagnosed with small cataracts when I was 35. The eye doctor recommended vitamin as a preventative and thought they might help the progression of the cataract. He felt mixed tocopherols were possibly a better, more natural product. I found the brand name Schiff from Adele Davis, arather famous nutrition writer of that era. I am now 75 and just returned from my regular eye exam. My cataracts are still there, and they haven't grown a bit since I started the mixed tocopherol vitamin E formula made by Shiff.
