My son,age 40, had severe breathing problems for several years. He was variously diagnosed as having asthma, chronic sinusitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). After several years of being given prednisone and albuterol and many antibiotics, his condition did not improve (although those drugs probably kept him alive). About 3 months ago he started on mucolyxir. Within a very short period of time his sinus infection (noted on 2 CAT scans) cleared, his breathing improved dramatically, and he now has significant breathing problems only when engaging in strenuous physical activity in very hot, humid weather. However, he still uses the albuterol occasionally, and is having difficulty weaning off the prednisone. I have a long (over 50 years) history of chronic sinusitis with post nasal drip. Within a few days of starting mucolyxir the situation improved greatly. While I still carry a handkerchief, I estimate the post nasal drip to have decreased about 70%; and I have only very rarely needed the Claritin which I used to take regularly. There have been no side effects. I highly recommend this product.
