Saw Palmetto is a small palm growing to a height of 20 feet, with fans of yellow green leaves and ivory flowers. Saw palmetto is indigenous to North America and can be found growing in sand dunes along the coasts from South Carolina to Texas. It is propagated from seed in spring and needs well-drained soil and plenty of sun.
