ALOE VERA

The plant of aloe vera contains 90% water and the rest of it contains active ingredients that include essential oil, amino acids, minerals, vitamins, enzymes and glycoproteins. (3)

Aloe vera has been used since many years as a powerful healing plant. Gel of aloe vera is mainly used for healing wounds. The gel can also be used as a first aid for sun burns, eczema, burns, insect bites, wounds, treating fungal infections. It may also very useful for the treatment of acne, Athletes foot, mouth sores and tonsillitis.

As it is considered as a natural moisturizer, it is used for protecting the skin from the harmful rays of sun. It also gives shine to the skin and the face looks very charming and bright.

The gel of aloe vera can also be rubbed on the skin to reduce the redness. The leaves of aloe vera can be helpful in preventing infection if rub on the cuts in the skin they also increase the healing process.(4)

The aloe vera gel is available in a variety of products like medicated cream, hand and body lotion, heat rub, pure aloe vera juice, mini lift mask, medicated jelly, moisturizer etc.

Aloe vera is mainly used as a food preservative and medicines. Other uses include that aloe vera can be helpful in the treatment of acne, scalp care, burns, stings, sprains, sunburns, eczema, sore muscles, arthritis, scrapes, cold sores, scalds, abrasions, psoriasis, bruises etc. it may also helpful in healing blister and provides relief from itching and is also very helpful in skin problems as it is used as a moisturizer and helpful in removing dead cells.

Aloe Vera can be used for the digestive problems and may acts as an anti-inflammatory agent.
