| DL-Phenylalanine (DLPA) is a mixture of the essential amino acid, L-phenylalanine and its mirror image, D-phenylalanine. DLPA has some of the effects of both forms of phenylalanine, although most people take it for the pain-relieving effects of D-phenylalanine.
